A strong departure from the music Nick typically writes, the Noisefloor EP was primarily created with the purpose of re-purposing the unmusical thoughts cluttering Nick's mind into an auditory experience.
Consisting of two pieces, the Noisefloor EP is based around the idea of "Anti-ambient" music. Anti-ambient is, in Nick's own terms, "A concept based around taking the normally calming ambient genre, and turning it into an unsettling nightmare." All tracks consist entirely of guitar parts by Nick, which were then sped up, slowed down, reversed, or otherwise altered to create new polyrythmic textures against the other tracks.
